Director's Message

Welcome to the Alfaisal Center for Research and Consultancy Studies. Thank you for taking the time to visit the center.

As the commercial arm to Alfaisal University, we are elated to offer our services to the faculty, students, and community at large. Our team is here to channel and support the community in all aspects of the following areas: Research, Training, IP, Corporate Governance, Competitiveness Center, and Innovation. With Alfaisal University’s vast expertise, services and assets on-hand, the aim of the center is to stay focused on the vision and mission which is to be in the forefront of innovation, education, and free enterprise both at the national and regional level by providing applied research solutions and consultations. The way to meet this vision is to deliver state-of-the art applied research solutions, educational training and consultation services that contribute to sustainable economic and social development by exploiting the University's human resources expertise and through building strategic partnerships.

In line with our vision and mission, one of our main initiatives at the center is to focus on the human capital initiative which is in line with the Vision 2030 to develop a resilient and strong educational base, to prepare for future and global labor markets, and to provide lifelong learning opportunities. To meet this initiative, we are pleased to announce we have configured and tailored an online platform called the Alfaisal Extension that allows us to customize any course either face-to-face, online and/or hybrid to the public, with accessibility from anywhere, anytime.

Advisory Board Members

The Vice President for Graduate Studies, Research and Innovation of Alfaisal University addressed the need to expand the Alfaisal Center for Research and Consultancy Studies and continue to make it a priority. He affirmed, “We need to ensure that the business center of Alfaisal University continues to serve the greater good in a variety of ways.” The Alfaisal Center for Research and Consultancy Studies’ Advisory Board serves as a key component in realizing this objective by providing essential consultancy and recommendations to commercialize AU expertise, services and assets.

The Advisory Board is composed of prominent leaders in an array of fields, as well as faculty with a deep commitment to the nonprofit, public and private interest sectors. The center relies on the support and participation of people with their knowledge and expertise. The deans from the College of Business and the College of Engineering on campus in addition to the Finance Director attend advisory board meetings helping to foster a collaborative and a cohesive vision.

The Alfaisal Center for Research and Consultancy Studies Advisory Board's main responsibility is to keep track of the center's big picture, explore new opportunities by stimulating robust, high-quality conversations, address issues of concern, and possibly develop strategies to address these concerns. It is critical to foster local voice and establish a context in which the interests of its constituents may be addressed.
