Executive Director's Message

Welcome to the Prince Khalid Alfaisal Center for Research and Consultancy Studies.

The Center serves as Alfaisal University’s strategic consulting and national solutions arm, dedicated to supporting government ministries, authorities, and leading organizations in addressing complex policy, operational, and human capital challenges. Our mandate is to transform the University’s intellectual leadership into evidence-based advisory services, rigorous applied research, and high-impact programs that contribute directly to national priorities and institutional excellence.

With a deep understanding of the Kingdom’s evolving strategic landscape, the Center works in partnership with decision-makers across government and industry to design and implement solutions that strengthen institutional performance, drive innovation, and support sustainable development. Our core areas of work include applied research, strategic advisory, governance and organizational development, competitiveness, innovation, sectoral strategy, and human capital capability building.

The Center has established itself as a trusted institutional partner, facilitating more than 300 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with ministries, national authorities, private-sector leaders, philanthropic foundations, and global organizations. These partnerships reflect our commitment to cultivating long-term relationships grounded in credibility, responsiveness, and measurable impact.

Aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, the Center prioritizes projects that enhance public-sector effectiveness, build resilient institutions, and advance national workforce capabilities. We support entities in designing transformation frameworks, improving governance and operational models, conducting needs assessments, evaluating policy and program effectiveness, and developing solutions that are practical, scalable, and results-driven.

Our work is guided by three pillars:

Strategic Advisory & Policy Development – supporting leaders in shaping strategies, policies, and transformation plans that address sectoral and national priorities.
Institutional Strengthening & Governance – enhancing organizational performance through improved structures, processes, governance models, indexing, and operating frameworks.
Transformational Capability & Workforce Development – building institutional and human capital capacity through targeted training, executive leadership development, and competency-based interventions.

Through these pillars, the Center positions Alfaisal University as a national partner capable of contributing meaningfully to the Kingdom’s transformation journey. We are committed to delivering outcomes that resonate at the leadership level, support informed decision-making, and empower institutions to achieve their strategic objectives.

We welcome collaboration with ministries, national entities, and C-suite leaders seeking a credible consulting partner grounded in academic rigor, practical expertise, and a strong understanding of Saudi Arabia’s strategic direction. Advisory Board Members

The Vice President for Graduate Studies, Research and Innovation of Alfaisal University addressed the need to expand the Prince Khalid AL Faisal Center for Research and Consultancy Studies and continue to make it a priority. He affirmed, “We need to ensure that the business center of Alfaisal University continues to serve the greater good in a variety of ways.” The Prince Khalid AL Faisal Center for Research and Consultancy Studies’ Advisory Board serves as a key component in realizing this objective by providing essential consultancy and recommendations to commercialize AU expertise, services and assets.

The Advisory Board is composed of prominent leaders in an array of fields, as well as faculty with a deep commitment to the nonprofit, public and private interest sectors. The center relies on the support and participation of people with their knowledge and expertise. The deans from the College of Business and the College of Engineering on campus in addition to the Finance Director attend advisory board meetings helping to foster a collaborative and a cohesive vision.

The Prince Khalid AL Faisal Center for Research and Consultancy Studies Advisory Board's main responsibility is to keep track of the center's big picture, explore new opportunities by stimulating robust, high-quality conversations, address issues of concern, and possibly develop strategies to address these concerns. It is critical to foster local voice and establish a context in which the interests of its constituents may be addressed.
